We're recruiting for a Materials Handler who will be responsible for ensuring all incoming items are recorded and stored in the correct locations as well as picking items for orders.
This is a full-time, permanent position based in Ely within a business that offers excellent benefits, training and development.
The role would be to record, store and pick incoming items ready for order and assembly and would suit candidates who highly organised and a strong team player.
Duties Include:
- Ensure all incoming items are received
- Picking of items for orders
- Weekly cycle counts
- Laser etching
- Packing of finished components, sub-assemblies and goods
- Replenish stock locations as required
- Maintain a safe and tidy in line with 5S principles and health and safety
The ideal candidate for the role will have:
- Experience within a stores/logistics function
- Knowledge of LEAN Manufacturing techniques and control
- Product handling experience
- Experience of stock control principles (desirable)
- Axapta experience (desirable)
