Are you an ambitious and motivated maintenance professional looking for your next career move? Our client, a successful and rapidly growing construction and building services company on the outskirts of Cambridge, is seeking a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team.

You will be responsible for both static and mobile contracts across Cambridgeshire. Working closely with clients and your team, you will ensure all maintenance works are completed efficiently, safely, and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand contract requirements and instructions from clients and line managers.
  • Diagnose faults and repair piping systems, fixtures, and mechanical equipment.
  • Coordinate and carry out works to ensure projects are completed on time.
  • Conduct routine inspections and Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM).
  • Accurately complete site records, certificates, and risk assessments.
  • Procure materials and manage their use effectively.
  • Maintain high standards of safety and quality in all work activities.
  • Multi-task across different technical areas; HVAC and plant experience is a bonus.

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 2 (or above) in Plumbing and Mechanical qualifications.
  • Experience in building services and facility maintenance roles.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Basic understanding of electrical systems.
  • Asbestos awareness is advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills, resourcefulness, and a customer-focused attitude.
  • Valid driving licence.

Hours: 40 per week - Monday to Friday, 07:30 - 16:00
