  • A very exciting opportunity for a Operational Excellence Director to join a leading third party logistics company.

Our client is a fast evolving third party logistic company who are aggressively growing across the UK.

They specialise in the design and operation of supply chain solutions for Technology, Consumer home products, health care, automotive and industrial and are looking for a Operational Excellence Director to join their team.

In this role, you and your team will identify and deliver key areas for continuous improvement.

  • To own the business KPI dashboard, working with the functions to identify leading measures and drive the consistent usage and improvements across the business.
  • Work with the wider business on identifying and delivering breakthrough, transformational events which drive high value, improve quality and reduce cost.
  • Guide the leadership teams to focus on key business priorities through analysing key metrics, cost-benefits analysis and creation of associated business cases by working with the finance team to ensure all proposals are financially sound and attract the strongest returns.
  • Own the detailed process flows, and collaborate with IT and Operational teams to continually improve the core WMS offering to existing customers and colleagues.

Essential:

  • Proven background in leading significant implementation and transformational, step change programmes.
  • Highly skilled logistics professional with an extensive background in third party logistics operating at a senior level.
  • The capability to create a vision and strategy for multiple teams, and lead and manage them to deliver outcomes aligned to the wider business objectives.
  • Proven background in leading significant implementation and transformational, step change programmes.
  • Strong operational improvement background with a clear demonstrable track record of improving QCD metrics both tactically and strategically.

Desirable:

  • Six Sigma Black belt qualified.
  • Understanding and exposure to best in class automation solutions.
  • Experienced and has worked with Quality Management System's.

£95,000 - £110,000 + Benefits
