My client is looking to bring on board an Operations Excellence Manager based in Staffordshire.
My client is a leading retailer based in Staffordshire.
The key roles and responsibilities of the Operations Excellence manager based in Satffordshire are as follows;
- Responsible for the creation of and maintenance of accurate relevant SOPS (Standard operating procedures).
- Develop and maintain a CI library and learning hub.
Lead the operational continuous improvement initiatives that are designed to eliminate waste, non-value added activities and improve performance in the five focus areas of Operational Excellence (Safety, Service, Quality, Cost, People).
Ensuring continuous improvement training, tools, best practices and resources are available to colleagues at all levels and are being utilised appropriately and effectively.
Involvement in the validation and long-term sustainability of all operational continuous improvement projects.
Review and validate performance results and achievement of continuous improvement projects.
The successful candidate for the Operations Excellence Manager vacancy based in Staffordshire will have the following experience, skills and qualities.
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience in logistics operations management, with a focus on process improvement and development.
- In-depth knowledge of logistics systems, technologies, and industry best practices.
- Strong analytic and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent leadership and team management capabilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance in the logistics industry.
- This role would suit an individual who has a background in; Project Management, Operation Excellence or Continuous Improvement.
£40,000 - £50,000 + Benefits
