My client based in Belper is seeking a Part-Time HR Assistant (Fixed Term Contract)
My client based in Belper (Derbyshire) is a market leading high tech manufacturer.
As Part-Time HR Assistant (Fixed Term Contract) reporting to the HR Manager you will play a key role in supporting the HR function, ensuring smooth administration, accurate record‑keeping, and excellent service to employees and managers.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Preparing HR documentation for new starters, including offer letters, contracts and onboarding paperwork.
* Supporting recruitment and selection processes.
* Assisting with performance management administration.
* Sending internal communications such as newsletters, surveys and vacancy updates.
* Maintaining and cleansing HR system data, ensuring GDPR compliance.
* Liaising with finance regarding invoices and updating HR records.
* Responding to initial employee and manager queries.
* Supporting managers with attendance, absence and timekeeping monitoring.
* Supporting employee relations processes including investigations and disciplinary meetings.
The most suitable applicant for Part-Time HR Assistant (Fixed Term Contract) will have:
* Previous experience in a HR environment, ideally in a similar role.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work to deadlines.
* High attention to detail and accuracy.
* Confidence working independently and using HR systems.
* CIPD (part) qualifications are desirable but not essential.
£25,000 - £26000 (FTE) per annum plus benefits
Based in Belper, 3 day working pattern which can be split over 5 days
