Are you looking for a role where you can help develop and shape, the people and culture of a rapidly growing business that's making waves in the industry?

This is a rare opportunity for an HR manager to join an ambitious, forward-thinking organisation on a part time basis, working 22.5 hours per week, based on site at their office in Cambridge.

With the business experiencing significant growth, they are looking for a dynamic and self-starting HR Manager to operate in a standalone capacity, taking ownership and developing the HR function.

You'll be the go-to person for all things HR, establishing best practices and fostering a thriving environment as they continue their exciting growth journey.

Reporting directly to the CEO, you'll be able to make a significant impact, drive strategic HR initiatives and contribute directly to business objectives.

This role is full of variety, including:

  • Developing the HR function
  • Fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment
  • Develop and execute recruitment and retention strategies to attract and retain top talent
  • Update HR policies and processes
  • Maintain HR records
  • Design and Deliver Learning & Development
  • Provide Strategic and Tactical HR Support

We're looking for a proactive HR Generalist/Manager who's CIPD qualified (ideally to Level 5), who can be a champion of employee wellbeing and engagement projects and that's used to working in a standalone capacity, leading employee relations cases confidently.

A strong understanding of UK employment law and best practices is essential, along with excellent communication, influencing, and organisational skills.

Experience within a start-up/early-stage business would be useful.
