Are you looking for a part-time HR position based on the outskirts of Cambridge?

We're pleased to be recruiting exclusively for a HR Officer, working 15 hours per week ideally over 2 full days, but hours can be to suit the person.

As HR Officer, you will be responsible for HR administration, recruitment and more, with duties including:

HR

  • HR file storing, secure sharing and management and provision of reports as needed
  • Optimising, developing and managing the lifecycle process
  • Managing onboarding and leaver processes
  • Administer and record employee benefits
  • Updating the organogram
  • Maintenance of documentation including employee handbook and policies
  • Monitor holiday entitlements and absences
  • Managing training records
  • Supporting/managing GDPR across the organisation
  • Progressing electronic signatures on a range of HR and administrative documents as required
  • Creating branded documents as required

Recruitment

  • Formatting and posting job descriptions and adverts
  • Managing the recruitment email account
  • Liaising with recruitment agencies for interview coordination
  • CV management
  • Managing incoming direct job applications from website
  • Candidate tracking including supporting anonymisation process
  • Interview scheduling
  • Provision of transactional HR support to include administering references and OH requirements
  • Recruitment contracts management

Experience of working in a HR position (administration level upwards) would be ideal, along with the CIPD qualification.

Confidentiality, attention to detail and accuracy is essential, along with being organised and good at prioritising tasks.

The successful candidate will have a proactive attitude and good problem solving skills.

Familiarity with HR systems would be useful.

Location:

South Cambridge (flexibility for some remote working)

Hours:

2 days per week / 15 hours per week (flexible on days worked)
