- Assist the Purchase Ledger to ensure invoices are processed in compliance with agreed terms and conditions
- Receiving and posting invoices
- Deal with supplier queries either by phone/ written correspondence/ in person
- Provide general assistance to the Purchase Ledger team to ensure the payment of supplier invoices are due by date
- Assist with the monthly reconciliation of supplier statements
As the Purchase Ledger Trainee you will have:
- Understanding of the role of the purchase ledger function within a Finance department.
- Beginner to intermediate excel skills
- WORD proficient
- Understanding of basic accounting
