My client is looking to bring an experienced Regional Health and Safety Manager on board based in England (Remote) to support the company in implementing Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards, as well as Quality standards, across all sites that fall within the region, adhering to customer/region-specific regulations.

My client are a Global 3PL Provider who are looking to bring on board a Regional Health and Safety Manager based in England (Remote)

The key roles and responsibilities for the Regional Health and Safety Manager based in England (Remote) are including but not limited to the following.

  • Implement HSE and Quality Strategic plans, policies, and processes across designated sites through compliance and auditing.
  • Advocate for the Safe Together program and strive for excellence in Safety operations while meeting or exceeding customer Quality and EHS requirements.
  • Provide support for Quality, Environment, Health, and Safety and ensure execution in both existing operations and new launches within the region.
  • Cross functional collaborating to establish and implement standards, processes, and controls to achieve business Key Results in quality, safety, environmental sustainability, training, cost reduction, waste management, and timely delivery.
  • Develop, mentor, and manage site teams to drive operational strategies, enhance customer satisfaction, and achieve business objectives.
  • Continuously enhance the Integrated Management System (IMS) and maintain certifications for applicable standards at site level.
  • Provide HSE support and training during launches to ensure successful attainment of launch objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with local, regional, and federal regulations within the designated area.
  • Lead and foster collaboration within site-level teams, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
  • Manage and lead engaged teams, providing development opportunities and evaluating performance against specific, challenging, and time-bound goals.

The successful candidate with have the following experience, skills and characteristics.

  • University Degree required; Master's Degree preferred or Bachelor's with equivalent job experience, preferably in a chemical, environmental, engineering, or health & safety discipline
  • Experience in Health & Safety management within a Logistics Environment
  • Knowledgeable in Health & Safety and quality standards (ISO, etc) including certification process
  • Strong interpersonal skills and can communicate effectively with all groups and levels within the organisation.
  • Good written communication.
  • Lean or 6 Sigma qualifications
  • Professional Safety Qualification or Safety NeBosh qualifications.
  • Minimum of 5 year's strong experience in a Logistics or Manufacturing Environment
  • Experience in leading teams within similar environment
  • Experienced in setting up management systems and integrating new sites.
  • Flexibility to travel

£50,000 - £60,000

Remote role (Travel expected to sites within region)
