EA First are delighted to be partnering with a large global organisation in their search for a Risk and Controls Manager to join their already well established yet growing team. This is permanent opportunity with many progression prospects.

This is a great opportunity for an individual looking to use their expert knowledge to proactively identify and handle risks and define and develop key controls, playing an integral part in embedding these across core People processes and systems.

You will be responsible for:

  • The design of the People controls framework across core People processes for financial, operational and regulatory risks
  • Developing and embedding controls for new processes in the People function
  • Continuous improvement and evolution of the People controls framework
  • Performing controls testing and concluding on design/operational effectiveness
  • Creating control metrics to monitor the control environment for end to end processes
  • Providing tailored training and guidance to control operators to ensure controls are embedded
  • Managing the segregation of duties ruleset for the People function including the management of privileged access and governing access request workflows
  • Engaging with Technology and Product teams on IT General Controls for People applications
  • Facilitating audits and liaising with internal and external auditors to resolve issues and next steps in a timely manner

The successful candidate:

  • Demonstrable experience in a similar role
  • Audit, risk, assurance, and compliance
  • Risk and Control (Second Line of compliance)
  • Risk and Control Matrices
  • Segregation of Duties
  • From an Audit or Big 4 (desirable) background
