We're working with a fast growing business based north of Cambridge who have secured another funding round to help transition and commercialise their first product therefore; needing a results driven Sales Director to lead the global development and expansion of this particular product and future product lines.
There's a fine balance for a business when transitioning between pre-revenue and revenue making while maintaining and enhancing the knowledge of the members of staff who have got them to this position; while blending in new additions to drive the growth of the business further; this company have managed to successfully achieve this to date.
This role will spearhead the growth globally from developing strategy, supporting the sales team to drive revenue specifically for this product line and identify opportunities. You'll work closely with the CCO, CTO and internal technology team to understand the product, leverage off their experience and knowledge to provide a first class service to potential partners while enhancing the company profile at networking/ trade events.
This is a role where you can truly influence and play an integral part in the next stage of growth within the business, have the ability to work with the SLT to improve current functions within the sales/ product team all the while being agile enough to adapt to new requests.
To be successful in this role, you'll come from a high level sales position ideally from a technology background however this isn't essential. You'll have gained a degree within Science, Engineering or Maths and someone who is able to present ground breaking technology with excitement to potential and existing partners.
You will have managed a team, able to oversee and mentor a team allowing personal develop for individuals to perform and feel valued. This comes with an expectation to travel across the country initially and further afield depending on business requirements.
