International IoT organisation based in Cambridgeshire is looking for a Senior Embedded Software Engineer. They produce solutions that enable people, vehicles and machines determine their precise position. They are looking for someone to design device drivers and services for their real-time Software Defined Modem Operating System (SDMOS) in C/C++ for an ARM based multi-core chipset.

This is a great opportunity to work with an industry leading team on a verity of projects. your responsibilities will include:
- Design device drivers and services for our real-time Software Defined Modem Operating System (SDMOS) in C/C++ for our ARM based multi-core chipset
- Maintenance and integration of 3rd party TCP/IP stack.
- Liaising with 3rd party TCP/IP stack provider for new features, bug analysis10 and new release integration.
- Working closely with Protocol Stack Team and Applications Team on data path integration and optimsation, and looking ahead to 5G data path design.
- Implementation of the above in an Agile work flow environment
- Develop tests for the above to work with our continuous integration test flow
- Documentation and maintenance
- Responsible for designing and architecting software modules from scratch
- Take ownership of complex software modules and develop and architect the roadmap
- Interface with a number of other international teams who are users of the Operating System
- Look at road map technologies and future requirements for the software framework
We are looking for a candidate with extensive experience in the embedded software industry able to demonstrate embedded programming experience in C/C++.
