We are currently supporting a Not for Profit organisation to recruit a Senior Finance Officer in Birmingham. This role is paying £30,000 - £32,000.
Our client is a Not for Profit organisation based in Birmingham. Their mission is to support the local communities by improving quality of life.
Senior Finance Officer:
- Provide financial information to internal and external stakeholders
- To support Finance staff with core systems
- Assist Senior Staff with month end routines to complete Management accounts
- Support operational finance team members to ensure that targets are met
- Assist in the management of the performance and development of team members
- Develop plans for team activities to achieve agreed targets and effective planning
- Manage the preparation of individual action plans and targets for all team members
- Post journals to the nominal ledger as required to deliver monthly/quarterly accounts
- Undertake ad hoc analysis of nominal ledger accounts as required
Senior Finance Officer:
- AAT qualified or part-qualified
- Purchase and Sales Ledger exeperience is critical
- Comfortable leading on bank reconciliations, posting journals and analysis of the nominal ledger
- Ability to provide working examples providing information to the wider organisation
- Ideally you will have managed a small team
- Experience using Microsoft Office and Finance Systems
£30,000 - £32,000
29 annual leave days + statutory bank holidays
