In the role of Senior Logistic SAP Consultant, the chosen candidate will play a pivotal role as the trusted advisor to the business. Key responsibilities include:
- Taking charge of central solution design, development, and project management for SAP Materials Management (including WMS) and Sales & Distribution (MM/SD) processes, with a strong emphasis on Store-To-Ship operations within APAC and European sites.
- Managing the Request for Change (RFC) process, collecting business requirements, and ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Ensuring alignment with global standards in solution design across SAP solutions.
- Configuring SAP modules MM, including WMS, and SD.
- Providing functional support, coordinating SAP enhancements, and overseeing User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Active participation in global SAP S/4 HANA template implementation projects.
- Responsibility for preparing and maintaining system documentation and training materials.
- Troubleshooting and resolving high-priority incidents.
- Mentoring and coaching regional IT teams by sharing SAP business knowledge.
To excel in this role, candidates should possess:
- A results-focused approach, combined with strong collaboration skills.
- Effective self-management capabilities.
- Deep Experience of SAP MM/SD experience, including involvement in implementation, roll-out, and go-live support in distribution environments. Previous experience in the food industry is considered a valuable asset.
- Knowledge and experience with IDOC based interfaces to local warehouse management systems.
- Prior exposure to S/4 HANA (a significant advantage).
- A track record of resolving issues in customized SAP environments (knowledge of ABAP & debugging is advantageous).
- Proficiency in SAP debugging.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong analytical and interpersonal skills, enabling effective interactions both internally and externally.
- Technical expertise in scanners, archiving, and printer connections is highly desirable.
