Based in their Cambridge office, the successful candidate will play a vital role in developing and enhancing the suite of environmental and risk models. The primary focus will be on environmental risk modelling, leveraging expertise to quantify climate-related perils and their impacts on business value chains. As a senior member of the team, responsibilities include wrangling complex datasets, conducting analytics, and building rigorous models to provide invaluable insights.
Essential Skills:
- Bachelor's or higher degree in natural sciences, mathematics, physics, or a related quantitative discipline.
- Minimum three years' post-qualification experience.
- Proficiency in relevant scientific topics related to climate change or quantitative modelling.
- Familiarity with climate science and the ability to interpret climate model outputs.
- Strong programming skills, preferably in Python.
