I'm looking for a Solutions Architect - Robotics to spearhead European expansion for a fast-growing intralogistics start-up focused on advanced robotics solutions for warehousing and industrial environments.

The role is responsible for developing resilient and scalable architectures for the Robotics platform, ensuring solutions are tailored to meet the technical and operational requirements of prospective clients.

My client is an ambitious technology start-up preparing to launch a new intralogistics business focused on transforming the warehouse and distribution market across Europe. The company aims to combine cutting-edge robotics, automation, and data-driven solutions to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability within modern supply chain operations.

With strong financial backing and a leadership team experienced in technology and logistics, the business is positioned for rapid growth and innovation. This is an exciting opportunity to join early and help create innovative robotics solutions.

  • Design and deliver end-to-end architecture and technical solutions for the Robotics platform, focusing on scalability, security, and smooth integration with cloud and IoT systems.
  • Support proposal development by responding to RFIs, joining pre-sales technical discussions, and showcasing solution value through well-designed, site-specific hardware and software architectures.
  • Work closely with product owners, engineers, and deployment teams to turn business requirements into clear, actionable technical designs.
  • Evaluate, select, and integrate robotics frameworks, APIs, and infrastructure components to build a cohesive, maintainable, and future-ready platform.
  • Provide hands-on technical leadership and guidance throughout development, deployment, and testing to ensure quality and consistency with architectural standards.
  • Make sure solutions meet security, compliance, and governance requirements, while following industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify challenges, gather feedback, and continuously improve the platform as customer and operational needs evolve.
  • Create and maintain detailed architecture documentation and solution blueprints to support long-term scalability and implementation.

  • 7+ years of experience as a Solutions Architect or in a similar role, ideally working with robotics, automation or SaaS platforms to deliver complex solutions in industrial environments.
  • Strong background in designing and integrating systems that bring together hardware, software, and connectivity - with a focus on scalability, reliability, and performance.
  • Comfortable working with customers and collaborating across IT, operations, and business teams to deliver complete automation solutions.
  • Experience supporting technical sales and delivery, including building proofs of concept, developing solution designs, and turning customer needs into clear technical plans.
  • Solid understanding of cloud and edge architectures, API design, and data integration - especially within industrial automation and connected device environments.
  • Hands-on exposure to robotic control systems, machine vision, AI or machine learning automation, or real-time data platforms is a big plus.
  • Able to balance innovation with practical delivery, ensuring every solution makes sense both technically and commercially.
  • Experienced in leading cross-functional design sessions, guiding engineering teams, and maintaining architectural oversight throughout the project lifecycle.
