Have you had counterbalance forklift training and are looking for a new Stores Person / Forklift Truck Driver role?
This is 6-9 month Fixed Term Contract for a Stores Person/Forklift Truck Driver based in Ely within a business that offers excellent benefits, training and development.
The starting salary for this role is £12.35 per hour.
There are two different fixed shift patterns available for this role:
Monday to Thursday 6.30am - 3.00pm
Friday 6.30am - 1.30pm
(39 working hours a week)
Monday to Thursday 8.00am - 17.00pm
Friday 8.00am - 1.00pm
(39 working hours a week)
As a key part of the goods in team, your duties will include:
- Accurately booking in of raw materials and component parts
- Control and direct all deliveries to correct areas
- Ensure all customs compliance procedures and documentation are followed
- Participate in regular auditing
- Unloading of delivery vehicles safely and efficiently
- Resolving any booking in issues that may occur
- Use of counterbalance forklift trucks
- Processing of delivery notes
Ideally, you will have:
- Counterbalance forklift training (essential)
- High level of attention to detail
- Previous experience of using an ERP system
- High level of data input accuracy
- Experience of reading and interpreting delivery notes
- Experience within a production or manufacturing industry
