The successful candidate for the System Development Administrator based in Cumbria will have the following responsibilities.
- Implement software applications, systems, and databases that align with business goals and enhance operational efficiency.
- Develop and manage databases, including schema design, indexing, querying, and optimisation for optimal performance and data integrity.
- Monitor and troubleshoot system issues, debugging code, analysing logs, and implementing fixes to ensure uninterrupted system operation.
- Collaborate with end-users and stakeholders to gather feedback, identify pain points, and implement improvements or new features.
- Provide technical support and training to end-users on system functionality, usage, and best practices.
- Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to propose and implement innovative solutions.
- Implement security measures to safeguard systems, applications, and data against potential threats and vulnerabilities.
