My client is a leading 3PL Provider based in Bedfordshire.
Seeking a highly motivated and experienced Transport Coordinator to join our fast-paced 3PL (Third-Party Logistics) transportation company.

The primary responsibility for the Transport Coordinator is to manage daily operations within the designated area. This includes briefing and debriefing drivers at the start and end of their shifts, monitoring performance to ensure high levels of efficiency and quality service to stores and customers, meeting daily and weekly KPI targets, and correctly dealing with high volume orders and bookings.
As a member of a flexible team, you will be responsible for promoting and maintaining a safe and environmentally responsible workplace, setting an example for colleagues to follow. You will also utilise any relevant systems, equipment, or software to improve performance and productivity and accept new technology and training as needed.
The ideal candidate for this role should have sound planning and people management skills, as well as good geographical knowledge.
Additionally, candidates should have a strong understanding of driver's hours and WTD regulations, a proactive problem-solving approach, and the ability to utilise IT and systems to deliver transport and distribution objectives. Awareness of operational performance as well as the capability to operate in a challenging employee relations environment and establish constructive working relationships.
The candidate should possess knowledge of computerised scheduling packages, and have an attention to detail that is driven by a commitment to continual improvement and high personal standards. Be comfortable working in a fast paced environment, where organisations and attention to detail is key.
£25,000 - £31,000 plus benefits
