Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop the VAT practice, working closely with a team of Part Qualified and Qualified TAX advisers.
- Collaborate with other teams within the firm to identify opportunities for growth and enhancement of VAT services.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on VAT matters, ensuring compliance and offering strategic insights.
- Drive business development initiatives to expand the firm's client base and revenue streams.
- Mentor and support team members in their professional development, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
The ideal candidate will either be a experienced Senior VAT Adviser looking for a new challenge or a skilled Manager capable of developing and maximising the firm's VAT practice.
The successful candidate will have:
- Significant VAT experience within an accountancy practice.
- CTA (Chartered Tax Adviser) qualification or equivalent.
- Strong management experience, with the ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
- A passion for problem-solving and innovation, with a proactive approach to creating solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
