My client is looking for a Warehouse Planning Manager based in Leicester to join their team.

My client is a leading 3PL Provider.

The key responsibilities of the Warehouse Planning Manager based in Leiestershire are including but not limited to the following.

  • Create and maintain a dynamic planning model to align inventory levels with forecasted demand.
  • Develop and implement inventory strategies to optimise stock levels, reduce carrying costs, and ensure product availability.
  • Monitor and analyse inventory performance, implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Coordinate with warehouse operations and logistics teams to ensure efficient order fulfilment and on-time delivery.
  • Implement and refine order prioritisation processes based on customer requirements and product availability.
  • Optimise resource allocation, including labour, equipment, and storage space, to maximise efficiency and minimise costs.
  • Work closely with HR to forecast staffing needs and ensure adequate training for warehouse personnel.
  • Continuously evaluate and enhance planning processes to improve overall efficiency and responsiveness to market changes.
  • Implement best practices for demand planning, inventory control, and order fulfilment.
  • Utilise data analytic tools to generate reports and insights on key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Present findings to leadership and recommend strategic adjustments as necessary.
