This contract will see you designing and delivering the project plans for a large WMS upgrade for a leading retailer. Alongside a dedicated and experienced project team, you will be responsible for the standardisation and optimzation of WMS capability across the client's logistics network.

- Working with the Project Management team to set and oversee deliverables and key milestones
- Develop and manage the implementation budget to ensure funding is available to meet the challenging roll out timescales
- Adept at managing 3rd party partners and vendors
- Work with tech teams to ensure current and future operations support processes are robust
- Delivering projects within the programme under a methodology of continuous improvement
- Take ownership for the definition and delivery of joint multi-site project plans
- Oversee various test phases including UAT - ensure testing plan, resource requirements and IT considerations are all met
- Ensure all training documentations, work instructions are trained out to all parties involved in any changes to process or new processes being introduced
- Manage and mitigate risk across projects, ensuring the benefits are constantly being reviewed and still viable deliverables
- Ensure adherance to Project Governance methodology, working closely with the Sponsor and key stakeholders of the project
You will have at least 10 year's experience within retail logistics and supply chain, and have a proven track record in managing, delivering and at times, recovering complex WMS programmes. You will have excellent knowledge of modern WMS solutions and how they integrate to other systems within a large application estate and you will have exceptional stakeholder management skills.
